New to the site but thought I'd join this group because I have 3 cats that own me, two of them came with my house -they belonged to my aunt and stayed with the house when we bought it. Two ladies- "Baby" and "Dale" and the newest is a little black...

Introduction & welcome for our new members.

Welcome to the Rainbow Bridge Memorial Chapel

I started this site because I feel a connection to animals that goes beyond what most people would consider normal. I also started it in hopes that you do too and that's why you're here. The purpose of this site is to provide you with a quiet place to reflect and remember your lost pet. Or when you're ready, to consider getting your next pet from a rescue or shelter. In the meantime, I know pet lovers are a compassionate group and hope that you will remember to support your local rescues and shelters throughout the year.

Personally, I prefer people over pets. And I believe that until man learns that this planet is not here to be raped and abused, we are doomed as a species. I also believe that man, and all living creatures are connected on a spiritual level, and a level of sacred trust. No better or no worse than the other. For all of our supposed intelligence, I feel that we have a lot to learn. And if you subscribe to the notion that what goes around comes around, or things eventually come full circle, then all of our progress will lead us back to a stone age of sorts.

In loving memory of my German Shepherd Amelia who passed on April 5, 2008

Please support your local shelter & rescue organizations.

The Web of Life

Humankind has not woven the web of life.

We are but one thread
in it.

Whatever we do to the
web, we do to ourselves.

All things are bound
together.

All things connect.
